I sought out to capture the electric radiance of Los Angeles at night and paint a portrait of my city.

It took me 6 months of on and off shooting to finish this project.

Shooting time lapses is a labor of love and a study in patience.

This video is dedicated to the memory of my Grandmother.

Hey, if you liked this video, please consider donating anything you can to the sequel “Into the Animation Factory”. Just go to: kickstarter.com/projects/1782902554/into-the-animation-factory The film follows the journey of “You” (the main character), a 3rd-tier technical writer who dreams of one day being a product designer. Working after hours, he creates a fantastic new product. When he presents his product to his employers, they inform him that it’s up to him to create an advertising campaign for the product – an advertising campaign that must be animated. This poses a problem for “you” – he knows very little about animation, and is instantly filled with doubts, and thus his future hangs in the balance. This is where our friendly narrator steps in, to guide “you” through the process of making an animated film. Step by step, our hero’s anxiety and doubts are put to rest, and in the end, he is triumphant!

Obsolete tells the story of a robot starting work in a decrepit toy factory. Trapped in the factory all its life it is curious about the outside world, watching a bird through the factory wall each day. When it mistakes a toy on the production line for the bird one day it sets the robots escape in motion. Created by Lewis Gray. Music, various songs by Nine Inch Nails.

Groumpf, or How came about offering Flowers. (en Français plus bas) How came about offering Flowers to our loved ones ?We propose an explanation in this little, unpretentious animated short film, which was created with the aim of demonstrating the online pipeline management software “SaAM” (Shots and Assets Manager “) [saamanager.net].
This short served us to create tutorials, but also to experience the overall functioning of SaAM in production conditions. As the project progressed, we have realized that we could in the meantime create something beautiful and original, trying to give sense. We went further than what was originally planned, to show what we can do.
