This is a remaster of a film originally made in 2008 for the “Secret Handshake” (a monthly animation contest held in Melbourne, Loopdeloop being its spiritual successor) although due to finishing late it was never screened. The theme that month was Time Travel. This new version has been remastered in HD and also contains an updated audio track and a few environmental animations.

It`s an inbetween project short. We started designing just the city, 7 months ago. Once we had it, we thought it will be nice if a monster tries to destroy it, but fails in the process. “let`s add a goofy robot!” we said. “Noclip” is a fake trailer, for a movie that, for now, is not going to be made, about the incredible power of its characters to defy the physics of the world they live in, almost as if they were cheating a videogame. This is a Final Year Graduation Animation by Yunlu Chen(Miffy) and Xiaonan Zhang(Sean). We use matte painting and composite our 3D characters into 2D environment.The story is about dream and friendship. Caroline fell into dream after a hard work and met a kind robot called Charlie. Although she was a scary stranger in the city which Charlie lives in, Charlie helps her had a good time in his city as a retribution because of that Caroline showed friendly to him.
